Warner Bros. Discovery is accelerating the global rollout of its premier streaming service, HBO Max, with launches in 12 new Asia Pacific markets and the UK and Ireland on March 26, 2026.
The expansion makes the service available directly to consumers in Bhutan, Fiji, Kiribati, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu, while UK and Irish audiences gain access to HBO, Warner Bros., DC Studios, Max Originals, and TNT Sports for the first time, according to separate statements.
The expansion in the Asia Pacific and Europe highlights the platformās strategy to combine premium content with flexible, consumer-centric experiences on multiple devices.
Flexible plans
In the UK & Ireland, HBO Max launches four monthly plans starting at £4.99 ($6.74), with ad-free and premium options up to £14.99 ($20.23), plus the ability to bundle with TNT Sports for £30.99 ($41.83) per month. Fans will also be able to stream Premier League, UEFA Champions League, MotoGP, Grand Slam tennis, Tour de France, and more, integrating live sports alongside blockbuster movies and series.

Key premieres include Euphoria Season 3 on April 13, Rooster starring Steve Carell, the Harry Potter TV series, and DCās Lanterns, along with new Max Originals like DTF St. Louis and The Comeback. Across markets, subscribers will also enjoy Warner Bros. films, from Oscar-nominated titles to family favorites such as Minecraft: The Movie and Dune: Part One.

Global expansion
The March 26 launches mark a significant step in HBO Maxās global growth, following recent European launches in Germany and Italy, and expanding the platformās footprint in both entertainment and sports streaming worldwide.
HBO Max has grown rapidly since its US debut in 2020 and now reaches over 110 territories worldwide. The service offers a mix of Hollywood blockbusters, Emmy-winning originals, and fan-favorite franchises, including House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, The Pitt, and One Battle After Another.
Subscribers can create up to five personalized profiles, track shows with Continue Watching, download content for offline viewing, and access curated kidsā profiles with parental controls.
